Gentlemen;

Cedar Farms, Virginia
September 2, 1955
Mr. J. I. Ellis, 2300 Patsy Ann Drive, Cedar Farms,
my next door neighbor, desires to construct a garage on his place.
I understand the County Building Code requires same to
be placed ten (10) feet from the property line. If this is done,
it will obstruct my view of surroundings; however, if it is placed
five (5) feet from the lines, it will not affect me to any extent.
In view of the above, I wish you would grant him a permit
to construct his garage five (5) feet from the property line instead
of complying with the code.
Very truly yours,
