SESSION <br /> <br /> <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTS <br /> <br />? <br /> <br />Mr. Stegmaier announced that in March 2012, Chesterfield County hosted "Prepare <br /> <br />Before the Storm,"which targeted home health care organizations in the county. The <br />seminar, put on by a combination of Human Services and Public Safety Departments, <br />hosted 52 home health care professionals. Mr. Stegmaier was pleased to report that the <br />Virginia Department of Emergency Management's Citizen Corp Program has awarded <br />this program as "Most Outstanding Program" due to the innovative and collaborative <br />team efforts of Human Services and Public Safety groups to reach out to home health <br />care organizations. <br /> <br />? <br /> <br />Mr. Stegmaier announced that two new restaurants have received their Certificates of <br />Occupancy and are slated to open in the next month off Midlothian Turnpike. Panera <br />Bread and Carena's Jamaican Grill are directly across the street from the new Kroger <br />and provide two new dining opportunities for people in this area of Midlothian. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing Mr. Leonard E. Wells, General Services, Fleet <br />Management Division, upon his retirement. <br /> <br /> <br />WORK SESSIONS <br /> <br />A Work Session was held regarding the proposed FY2014 budget for the Commonwealth’s <br />Attorney and Management Services and proposed changes to the Capital Improvement <br />Program. <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing April 14-20, 2013, as “National Public Safety <br />Telecommunications Week” in Chesterfield County. <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing Deputy Sonja W. Peterson, Sheriff’s Office, <br />upon her retirement. <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing Ms. Mary Mallory, Social Service Department, <br /> upon her retirement. <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
