SESSION <br /> <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR'S COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Ramsey and several Board members expressed condolences to the family of <br />Police Officer Ryan Cappelletty who died from injuries sustained this morning in <br />the line of duty. <br /> <br />Reverend Steve Vaughan, Pastor of Second Branch Baptist Church offered <br />comforting words regarding the death of Officer Cappelletty and gave a special <br />prayer for his family. <br /> <br />Ms. Debbie Leidheiser, Development Manager of Brandermill Woods, made a <br />presentation to the Board regarding the Learning in Retirement Institute. <br /> <br />Mr. Gregory Wingfield, President of the Greater Richmond Partnership, updated <br />the Board on activities of the Partnership. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Adopted <br /> <br />Resolution recognizing The Community Weekly for their <br />contribution to Chesterfield County by naming them the <br />Chesterfield County Small Business of the Year for 2003. <br /> <br />Adopted <br /> <br />Resolution recognizing Shoosmith Brothers, Incorporated for their <br />contribution to Chesterfield County by naming them the <br />Chesterfield County Medium Business of the Year for 2003. <br /> <br />Adopted <br /> <br />Resolution recognizing CJW Medical Center for their contribution <br />to Chesterfield County by naming them the Chesterfield County <br />Large Business of the Year for 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
