COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTS
Ms. Patsy Brown updated the Board on Chesterfield County’s Open Government Webpage
which supports the county’s continuing effort to promote transparency.
Mr. Bill Dupler updated the Board on the county’s ongoing efforts to promote revitalization of
neighborhoods and areas around Providence and Manchester Middle Schools slated for
revitalization through the 2013 bond referendum. He also briefed the Board on recent
developments relative to the Roadrunner Campground.
Mr. Robert Key updated the Board on the progress of the Police Headquarters renovation
project.
Ms. Mary Ann Curtin presented a brief update to the Board of Supervisors on the status of
several bills before the General Assembly and from the county’s legislative program.
RESOLUTIONS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS
Adopted Resolution recognizing Mrs. Diana C. Jefferson, Department of General
Services, Buildings and Grounds Division, upon her retirement.
WORK SESSIONS
A Work Session was held regarding the proposed FY2016-FY2020 Capital Improvement
Program.
APPOINTMENTS
Approved Nomination/appointment of Mr. George Hayes to serve as an alternate
member on the Appomattox River Water Authority Board.
Approved Nomination/appointment of Mr. George Hayes to serve as an alternate
member on the South Central Wastewater Authority Board.
Approved Nomination/appointment of The Honorable J. David Rigler to serve on
the Community Criminal Justice Board.

in conjunction with a church use, located at 3320 and 3424 West
Hundred Road, 3401 and 3409 Osborne Road and 3321 West Grove
Avenue.
Approved Request for permission from Adana Investments, LLC to construct a
gravel driveway within a fifty-foot county right of way known as Fonda
Street.
Approved Request for permission from Kamran Raika and Ana Raika to construct
two bulkheads in the impoundment easement for Swift Creek Reservoir.
Approved Request to quitclaim a drainage easement and temporary construction
easements across property of Barbara Flint Davis.
Approved Designation of right of way and conveyance of easements to VEPCo
and Verizon for the South Providence Road Sidewalk Project.
Approved Acceptance of grant and appropriation of funds from the Virginia
Department of Environmental Quality and award of construction
contract for Wrens Nest Road drainage improvements in the Settlers
Landing Subdivision.

America.
