Browning, seconded by Mr. Britton, it is resolved that the following <br />Ordinance be and it hereby is adopted: <br /> <br />AN ORDI~NCE to ~end Par. 11-16 of the Code of the County of Chesterfield, <br />Virginia, to eliminate p~yinE compensation to the Clerk for the collection <br />of the recordation tax imposed by Article III, Chapter 11. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY ThE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF CHESTERFIELD, <br />VI RGIN IA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Par. 11-16 of the Code of the County of Chesterfield,Virginia, <br />./ be repealed and reordained as follows: <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the Circuit Court of this County collecting the tax imposed <br />under this Article shall pay the same into the treas.ur~'., of this County. <br />.The Clerk shall receive no compensation for his servzces in collecting the <br />tax' imposed bM this Article. An emergency existir~, this ordinance shall be in <br />full force and effect upon its passage. <br /> <br />On motion of ~r. Goyne, seconded by Mr.Browning, it is resolved that this Board <br />authorizes the purchase of twenty-four (24) school buses to be ordered by the <br />Purchasing Agent and charged to the School Board after July 1, 1965. <br /> <br />On motion of Rlr. Martin, seconded by Mr.Britton, it is resolved that this Board <br />guarantees the payment of the architects' designing future schools in an amount <br />not to exceed $130,000.00. <br /> <br />Mt. Daniel Patron, representing the Chesterfield UnitedCivic Association, comes <br />before the Board requesting certain street lights in various sections of the <br />County. Upon consideration w~reof, and on motion of Mr.Martin, seconded by <br />Mr.Browning, it is resolved that the ~xecutiveSecretary report in writing on t~ <br />necessity and ~easibility of all street light request s. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Goyne, seconded by Mr.Britton, it is resolved that the Treasurer <br />of the County of Chesterfield be and he hereby is requested to transfer from the <br />unappropriated Surplus of the County the sum of $8OO0700~o Item 3-E-Central <br />Accounting and $16,700.00~to Item 7-Fire Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Aoperson, seconded by Mr. Browning, it is resolved that the reques~ <br />of Mr. John Robins for the installation of street signs sho~ing the subdivision <br />name on the three roads leadin~ into Rt.360 in Falling Creek Farms, be, an8 the <br />same is hereby approved, with the stipulation that should these signs need replacing <br />the standard signs will then be rected. <br /> <br /> <br />
