SESSION <br /> <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR'S COMMENTS <br /> <br />Rear Admiral Michael Lyden, Commander of Defense Supply Center Richmond <br />(DSCR) updated the Board regarding activities at DSCR. <br /> <br />Senator John Watkins presented a check to Ms. Nancy Parker, GIS Manager, <br />representing the state's reimbursement for aerial photography data provided by <br />the county to the state. <br /> <br />Dr. William Nelson, Director of Health Department, and Mr. Chris Winstead, <br />Resident Engineer, Virginia Department of Transportation provided an update on <br />West Nile Virus activity and BMPs in Chesterfield County. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Adopted <br /> <br />Resolution recognizing October 2003, as "Crime Prevention <br />Month" in Chesterfield County. <br /> <br />Adopted <br /> <br />Resolution recognizing October 5-11, 2003, as "Fire Prevention <br />Week." <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing Mr. Roger Herlean for exemplary <br /> volunteer service. <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing the month of October as "Disability <br /> Awareness Month." <br /> <br /> <br />
