Admin., <br /> Community Development <br /> <br />The special meeting convened at 1:50 p.m. Ail five Board <br />members signed a "Notice of the Meeting" waiving any further <br />notice. <br /> <br />The Board members met with Senator George Allen regarding the <br />storm damage from Tropical Storm Gaston at the Falling Creek <br />Apartments. A tour of the area was conducted by Board <br />members with assistance of staff. <br /> <br />Senator Allen commended public safety for rescuing apartment <br />inhabitants and preventing loss of life. <br /> <br />Mr. Warren excused himself from the meeting at 2:05 p.m. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Humphrey, the <br />Board adjourned at 2:50 p.m. until the next regularly <br />scheduled meeting on September 22, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Ayes: Miller, Humphrey and King. <br />Nays: None. <br />Absent: Barber and Warren. <br /> <br />Lane B.
