Ramsey <br /> <br />Summary of Actions Taken by the Board on January 24, 2001 <br /> <br />3:30 P.M. SESSION <br /> <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR'S COMMENTS <br /> <br />Ms. Mary Ann Curtin, Director of Intergovernmental Relations, and Mr. Wendell Roberts, <br />Assistant County Attorney, presented an update on the status of the County's legislative <br />program. <br /> <br />Mr. John Mathiasen, Executive Director of Richmond International Airport, presented a report <br />on the Airport's progress. <br /> <br />Mr. Craig Bryant, Director of Utilities, presented an update of the water taste issue at the <br />Addison-Evans Water Production Facility. He stated that, although the source of the taste has <br />still not been identified, the taste has improved since increasing the amount of carbon being <br />supplied to the water. He indicated that staff is continuing to work with the consultant to <br />determine the source of the taste. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Approved Resolution recognizing February 2001, as "Petfix Month 2001". <br /> <br />WORK SESSIONS <br /> <br />Mr. Dave Hainley, Planning Administrator, presented highlights of proposed amendments to the <br />Subdivision, Utility and Zoning Ordinances; and Deputy Fire Chief Paul Shorter provided <br />information from a public safety viewpoint regarding the proposed change relative to second <br />accesses for developments with more than 50 homes. <br /> <br />Mr. Allan Carmody, Budget Manager, presented highlights of the proposed Capital Improvement <br />Program for FY2002-FY2007. <br /> <br /> <br />
