This resolution shalltake effect immediately. <br /> <br />This day Mr. J.S.Allen requested a Variance to allow the construction of a garage <br />4' 6" from his side lot line on 4805 Oam~mb~llAvenue. On motion of Mr. Britton, <br />seconded by Mr. Hague, it is resolved that a variance be granted to allow Mr. <br />Allen to construct a garage 41 6" from his side lot line. <br /> <br /> This day Mrs. W. F. E. Eubank of the West Road requested permission to sell an <br />acre of land to whiah there was only a 20-foot right of way and guarante8 a <br />building permit for said lot. Upon consideration whereof and on motion of Mr. <br />Britton, seconded by Mr. Driskill, it is resolved that the request, of M~s. <br />Eubank be and it hereby is denied. <br /> <br />This day Mr. E.L.Mumma, Building inspector, reported he tmd inspected the propert <br />of Mr. Victor Oaudl® on Roselawn Avenue,and cited several violations of the <br />Building code prowisions. It was generally agreed that the Buildin§ inspector <br />attempt to have said violations corrected, <br /> <br />This day the Executive Secretary read a letter from Mr. Angus Powell, President, <br />David M. Lea & Company, which letter stated that the David M. Lea Company is <br />interested in obtaining a road from Rt. ~1 to Mineola germ, off the old Centralia <br />Road, however, could not at this time state when a new plant would be constructed <br />whichletter was ordered received and filed. <br /> <br />This day the Exeautive Secretary read a letter ~overing a list of roads taken <br />into the Secondary System of roads as of October 1, 1956, which roads are as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Whitlone Road - April Acres Subdivision <br />From Route ~84, 0.03 Mi. Length 0.16 mile. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Hague, seconded by Mr. Driskill, it is resolved that the <br />Treasurer be and he hereby is authorized to transfer from the unappropriated <br />surplus of the County's General Fund the sum of ~6782,~? to 2a-21~ for the <br />Countyls share of the purchase of new equipment for the office of the Commission, <br />of the Revenue, <br /> <br />And be it further resolved, thatthe Treasurer of the County of Chesterfield <br />be and he hereby is authorized to transfer from the unappropriqted surplus <br />of the Countyms General Fund $6053.61 to 3a-215 for the purchase of new office <br />equipment in the office of the Treasurer. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Hague, seconded by Mr. Goyne, it is resolved that the request <br />of Mr. Robert Lux, School Board official, to use the Hening Building as a <br />furniture repair shod,be and it hereby isKranted, provided it meets with the <br />approval of the Executive ~o~it~e~.of the Fair Association. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Goyne, seconded by Mr. Drksill, it is resolved that this Board <br />request the School Board to consider the possibility of using Camp Baker for <br />school class rooms during this present emergency. <br /> <br /> <br />
