held at the Courthouse on July 30,
1952, at 8:00 p.m.

This day the Executive Secretary reported to the Board that the budget for the
year ending June 30, 1952 had been ~nended on June 24, 1952, supplementing those
funds in which a deficiency might have occurred and reporting further that a
recent audit made by the Treasurer,s Office showed these amendments to be in
error in several cases.
Upon consideration whereof and on motion of Mr. Hague, seconded by Mr.
Gunter, it is resolved that the minutes of June 24th be and they are hereby
amended to read as follows:

This day the Executive Secretary reported that the Buildings and Grounds
Committee had met and recommended that the new telephone switchboard be placed
in the Police headquarters and that a partition be placed to provide the
switchboard operator a room set off from the main room in the Police head-
Quarters.
Upon consideration whereof and on motion of Mr. Gunter, seconded by Mr.
Goyne, it is resolved that this report be adopted and approved as presented,
and that a partition as outlined be installed.
This day it was re~orted that the room to be vacated by the telgphone
board in the main uourthouse had been requested by the Sheriff or his switch-
use.
Upon consideration whereof and on motion of Mr. Hague, seconded by Mr.
Goyne, it is resolved that this room to be vacated by the telephone switchboard
be and it hereby is designated to the Sheriff for his use.
This da.y the Executive Secretary read a letter from Perrow and Brockenborough,
