Attorney and the t~x~cutive Secretary be end they hereby are instructed to take the <br />necessary steps to prepare a building code for Chesterfield County. <br /> <br />This day ~. H.T. Goyne, stated that a ~ection of Et.611, east of Bellewood ~lanor <br />was in bad condition. Upon consideration whereof, and on motion of H.T. Coyne, it <br />is resolved that the Virginia Department of Highways be and it hereby is requested <br />to improve and surface treat Rt.611, east of Bellewood Manor for a distance of <br />approximately .2 of a mile. <br /> <br />The undersigned County Road Engineer having been directed at a previous meeting of <br />the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County to examine a portion of Stockton <br />Street, a portion of Dellwood Avenue, 50th Street, 48th Street ~nd 49th Street, <br />in the Subdivision of "Woodstock" and report to this Board the expediency of esta- <br />blishing said streets as public roads, reports as follows: <br /> <br />That he v~nt upon said streets and examined the same, and is of the opinion that <br />there is a necessity for the establishment of said streets as public roads, and <br />fur th er <br /> <br />(1) The said roaCs will be of great public convenience. <br />(2) That they will not be of mere private convenience. <br />(Z) No ~ard, garden, or orchard will be taken. <br />(4) The said streets are roads in a subdivision and land dedicated to the <br /> Commonwealth of Mirglnia and therefore land o~ners along said raods will <br /> not receive co~pensation. <br />(5) No land o~ner requires co~pensation. <br />(6) There will be no compensation. <br /> <br />Attached hereto is a sketch or diagram shov~in~~ the streets and the ap proxim~te <br />location of houses thereon. The map of the subdiMision referred to is recorded <br />in Plat Book 8, page ES, of the Clerk's Office in said County. <br /> <br />This day the County ~oad hngineer in accordance with directions from this Board <br />mad~ a report in writing upon his examination of a portion of Stockton Street, <br />a portion of Dellwood ~venue, 50th Straight, 48th Street, and 49th Street, in the <br />Subdivision of "Woodstock" which report shows that i~ the opinion of the County <br />Road Engineer it is expedient that ~uch roads (streets) be established as public <br />roads. <br />Upon consideration ~her~of, and on motion of W.A. Homer, it is resolved that a <br />portion of ~tockton ~treet, a portion of Dellwood Avenue, 50th Street, ~Sth Street, <br />and 49th Streot in the Subdivision of "~oodstock" be and they are hereby established <br />as public roads. <br /> <br />And be it further resolved that the Virginia Department of Hi~hways be end it hereby <br />is reeuested to take into the Secondary System of Chesterfield County, Stockton Stre <br />from Rt. 1el to 50th ~treet, a distance of .2 of a mile. This is a connection road <br />and there are no house on it. Del~wood ~venue from Rt. 161 to 50th Street, a dis- <br />tahoe of .2 of a mile, this ~s a connecting road and there are no house on it. <br />50th ~treet from Stockton Street to ~ell~'ocd Avenue, .1 of a mile. There are 5 <br />hooses on this street. 48th street from ~tockton Street to Dellwood Avenue, a dis- <br />tnace of .1 of a mile. There are 4 house on this street. 49th Street from Stccktos <br />Street to Dellwood ~venue, a distance of .2 of ~ mile. ?~hree houses are on this <br />street. <br /> <br />~nd be it further resolved that the ~oarG of ~upervisors of Chesterfield County <br />~uarantees a right-of-way for these streets to the State Department of Highways <br />of not less than thirty feet. <br /> <br />The undersigned County koad Engineer havin~ been directed at a previous meeting of <br />the Board of oup~rvisors of Chesterfield County to examine Brightwood ~enue, Belme~ <br />~venue, Beaumont ~venue and the hxtension of Ridge Boulevard (Rt. 611), in the <br />subdivision of "Central Park" and report to this Board the expediency of est~blish- <br />in~ s~id avenues as public roads, reports as follows: <br /> <br />That he went upon said avenues and examin~d the same, and is of the opinion that <br />there is a necessity for the establishment of sai~ avenues as public roads, and <br />further - <br /> <br />(ll That said roads will be of gre~t public convonience. <br />(2) That they will.not be of mere private convenience. <br /> No yard, garden or orchard will be taken. <br /> The said ~venues are roads in a subdivision and land dedicated to the <br /> Commonwealth of Virginia and therefore land owners along said roads <br /> will not receive compensation. <br />(5) No land owner requires compensation. <br />(6) There will be no compensation. <br /> <br />Attached hereto is a sketch or diagram showing the ~venues and the approvimate <br />loc~tion of houses thereon. <br />The meo of the subdivision referred to is recorded in Plat Eook 4, pages ll4 and <br />ll5, of the Clerk's Office in said County. <br /> <br />This day the County Road Engineer in accordance uith directions from thL~ Board <br />made a report in ~riting upon his examination of Bri~htwo~_d %venue, Belmeade <br />Avenue, and the E~ension of Ridge Boulevard (Rt. 611) in the subdivision of <br />Central Park, which report sho~s that in the opinion of the County Ro~d Engineer <br />it is expedient that ~aid ro~ds (streets) be established as public roads. <br /> <br /> <br />
