MOBILE HOME REPORT
The Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County, on Wednesday, March 9
1977, beginning at 2:30 P. M., in the County Board Room at Chesterfield
Courthouse, Virginia, will take underconsideratton the granting of
Mobile Home Permits on the parcels of land described herein.

The applicant requests a Mobile Home Permit to park a mobile home on
property which belongs to J.P.K. Excavating, Inc. Mr. Mathews is an
employee of the Company. Staff notes that in a Business District the
Zoning Ordinance permits one mobile home for the owner and/or oFerator
of the business being conducted on the property. Since this is not
the case, staff recommends denial of this request unless the applicant
can clearly demonstrate hardship as distinguished from a special privilege
or convenience; that the mobile home permit is necessary for the preserva-
tion of substantial property rights possessed by other properties in the
'same zoning district and in the same vicinitYi and that the granting
of the permit will not materially impair the purpose of this Ordinance
or the public interest. The Health Department reports that the exist-
ing septic tank and well will adequately serve t,his mobile home.
Adjacent property owners state no objection to this request which is
for 2 years.

(R-1S) zone and the parking of a mobile home is permitted for a
nine (9) month period provided the mobile home is necessary because the
principal residence located on the premises has been rendered uninhabit-
able by fire or other Act of God. The Health Department reports that
the existing septic tank and well will adequately serve this mobile
home. Adjacent property owners state no objection to this request
which is for 9 months.
