<br />The matter of filling the vacancy caused by the resignation of F.F. Vincent on the <br />Police Force was considered, and on motionof H.T. Goyne, it is resolved that this <br />place be filled as soon as practical in the same manner as previously instructed <br />for filling other vacancies existing. <br /> <br />The matter of payment from the City of Richmond of the sum of $90,607.05 as a part <br />of the payment >>equired by the decree of annexation to the Board of Supervisors <br />of Chesterfield County was considered, and on motion of J.G. Hening. it is resolved <br />that the Comptroller of the City of Richmond be requested to pay to the Treasurer <br />of the County of Chesterfield the sum of $90,607.05, if such amount be found corre <br /> <br />This day the Execut ive Secretary read a resolution from the School Board requesting <br />the Board of Supervisors to appropriate the amounts of $29,172.00 and $27,511.86 <br />to the General County School Budget to reimburse them for like amounts paid to the <br />Stat e Literary Fund for bonds against tre General County School Debt and the Special. <br />Manchester Sohool Debt Fund, respectively. Upon oonsideration whereof and on I <br />motion of Vi.A. Horner, it is resolved tht't the Treasurer of Chesterfield County be <br />and he hereby is instructed to make the above requested transfer. <br /> <br />The matter of disposition of deposits Which have been colleoted from water users ! <br />in the Bellmeade and Manchester Sani tary Districts was brought befo 1'6 the Board. anqi <br />upon consideration whereof and on motion of ~i.A. Horner, it is resolved thst the <br />Treasurer of Chesterfield County be and he hereby is directed to transfer all such <br />deposits from the General Fund to the Manchester and Bellmeade Sanitary Distriot <br />Funds respectively, as they affect each District. <br /> <br />The natter of assistance in planning and administering the blackouts and air-raid <br />warnings in the defense was brought before the Board by the Execu ti ve Secreta,ry. I <br />and upon consideration whereof and on motion of W.A. Horner. it is resolved that th, <br />Executive Secretary be and he hereby is instructed to secure the services of i <br />Fire \iarden A.. L.
