SESSION <br /> <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTS <br /> <br />?? <br />Mr. Ramsey announced that the Chesterfield Emergency Communications Center <br />was recently accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Law <br />Enforcement Agencies. <br /> <br />?? <br />Dr. William Nelson, Health Department Director presented an informative report <br />regarding pandemic and avian influenza. <br /> <br />?? <br />Assistant County Attorney Tara McGee provided an interim report regarding the <br />removal of illegal signs from county right of ways. <br /> <br />?? <br />Mr. Ramsey and Mr. King provided details of their visit to Gravesham, England <br />as part of the county’s twinning relationship. <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing Mr. Sam Dickenson for his outstanding <br />customer service. <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing RJ Smith Construction, Incorporated as the <br />county’s 2006 First Choice Business of the Year. <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing Austin Brockenbrough and Associates as the <br />county’s 2006 Special Award Winner for Community Service. <br /> <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Approved Appointment of Mr. Millard D. “Pete” Stith to serve on the Capital <br />Area Policy Board. <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
