SESSION <br /> <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTS <br /> <br />Ms. Rebecca Dickson, Deputy County Administrator for Human Services, provided details of <br />events that will be held on May 19 and 20, 2007 when the Godspeed sails into town and docks at <br />Henricus Historical Park. <br /> <br />Chief Paul Mauger provided the details of funeral arrangements for Captain Joe Newsome, <br />Chesterfield Fire and Emergency Medical Services, who passed away suddenly on April 23, <br />2007. <br /> <br />Students from county high schools will be participating in Model County Government Day by <br />shadowing a county official. The students introduced themselves and provided the name of the <br />county official they will shadow. <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing Mr. John T. Hewitt, Department of Real Estate <br />Assessments, upon his retirement. <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution recognizing May 2007, as “Older Americans Month” in <br />Chesterfield County. <br /> <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br /> <br />Approved Appointment of Ms. Cynthia Hodges to serve on the Chesterfield <br />Community Services Board. <br /> <br />Approved Appointment/reappointment of Mr. William D.
