The Chairman calls the meeting to order at 12 : 00 noon.
It is on motion o£ Mr _ APV erson, seconded by Nlr _ Dodd, resolved
that this Board go into Executive Session to discuss personnel
matters _

Reconvening :
It is on motion o£ Dirs _ Giroxne , seconded by Mr _ Dodd, resolved
that this Board accepts the revised Expenditures Budget £or
1977-78 £or the Nursing Home in the amount of $2., 765 , 444 _
Ayes: Mr_ O'Nei11, Mrs. Girone, Mr. Apperson, Dir. Bookman
and Mr. Dodd _
1t is on motion of Mrs_ Girone, seconded by Mr, Bookman, re-
solved that this Board approves the rate adjustments £or the
Nursing Home, e£fettive:June 1, 1977, as follows:
Room Rates Skilled Nursing lntermediate Care
Private $35.00
Semi -Private $37.00 $33.00
Ayes : Dir O' Neill , Mrs Gir one , Mr. App -arson, Mr _ Bookman
and Mr . Dodd .
It is on motion of Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Apperson,
resolved that this Board adopts a charge of $2.50 per
patient per day for ancillary services at the Nursing Home,
Ayes: Mr. O'Neill, Mrs. Girone, Mr. Apperson, Mr. Bookman
and Mr. Dodd.
On motion of Mr. Dodd, seconded by Mrs. Girone, it is resolved
that Mr. Martin, Nursing Home Administrator, is hereby
authorized to reduce the number of skilled cane beds in
the Nursing Home from 48 to 20-35 beds.
Ayes: Mr. O'Neill, Mrs. Girone, Mr. Apperson, Mr. Bookman
and Mr. Dodd.
It is agreed to defer until May 16th appointments to the
Richmond Regional Planning District Commission.
Mr. Dodd states he has spent the last of the Bermuda Escrow
sewer money on the.project coming before the Board on May 16th
for approval.
Mr. Bookman states the financial report on sewer and water is
looking much better.
Mr. Apperson presents a request that the schools be released
from responsibility of culverts on Krause Road leading into
the Vocational Technical School and the new high school. After
much discussion, it is agreed to defer this matter until May 16th
when Mr. Ritz is available to discuss this in greater detail.
On motion of Mrs. Girone, seconded by Mr. Dodd, it is resolved
that this Board adjourns at 2:30 p.m. until Monday, May 16th
at 1:00 p.m.

and Mr. Dodd.
