Ee presented an overview on ~e functions cf ~e federal and local sources; ~ritical issues fa~ing Depar~en% such as medicaid reimb~sement from eligible candidates; ~ increased ~ber o~ m~dioally i~digent; and ~e need for public health nurses for new school facilities. He reviewed the Parks and Recreation Department and its major responsibilities; the critical issues facing the athletics; the proposed activation of a $~ per participant fee for youth and adult a~letic groups to help offset Department available facilitie~ wi~in the Parks and Recreation System.
