13SN0504 - ADDENDUM CASE MANAGER: Ryan Ramsey February 27, 2013 BS ADDENDUM 13SN0504 Trebour Family Limited Partnership Clover HillMagisterial District 9811 Midlothian Turnpike The purpose of this addendum is to advise the Board of the Planning Commission’s recommendation for this case. REQUEST:Amendment of conditional use planned development (Cases 81SN0072 and 82SN0105) relative to signage in General Business (C-5) and Light Industrial (I- 1) Districts. PROPOSED LAND USE: Afreestanding sign to identify a newly constructed auto dealership is planned. The sign is intended to replace one (1) of the two (2) existing signs along Midlothian Turnpike. Deletion of an approved sign package is proposed thereby permitting future signage for the development to comply with current ordinance requirements for freestanding sign design and illumination. As proffered, the proposed freestanding sign would comply with current sign area limitations of the ordinance. Further, the applicant has agreed to reduce the aggregate freestanding sign area for the project below that waspreviously permitted by conditions of zoning. Staff continues to recommend approval as outlined in the “Request Analysis.” PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION RECOMMEND APPROVAL ANDACCEPTANCE OF THE PROFFERED CONDITION ON PAGE 2 OF THE “REQUEST ANALYSIS.” CASE HISTORY Planning Commission Meeting (2/19/13): The applicant’s representative accepted the recommendation. There was no opposition present. On motion of Mr. Gulley, seconded by Mr. Patton, the Commission recommended approval and acceptance of the proffered condition on page 2 of the “Request Analysis.” AYES: Messrs.
