The purpose of this addendum is to advise the Board of applicant’s revised proffered
conditions. Since the applicant has amended their proffers after the advertisement of the case,
the Board's rules will require unanimous consent to suspend the rules to hear the case.
REQUEST:Conditional use approval to permit a contractor’s storage yard in an Agricultural (A)
District.
PROPOSED LAND USE:
A contractor’s storage yard is currently operating on the property without the
requisite conditional use approval. Continued use of a contractor’s storage yard is
planned.
On February 26, 2013 the applicant amended Proffered Conditions 4 and 6. Proffered Condition 4
limits the contractor’s storage yard to equipment storage only. Proffered Condition 6 provides120
days to remove any remaining construction or material stockpiles from the property.
Staff continues to recommend denial of this request for reasons outlined in the “Request Analysis.”
NOTE: SINCE THE AMENDED PROFFERS WERE SUBMITTED SUBSEQUENT TO
THE ADVERTISEMENT OF THE CASE, IT WOULD BE NECESSARY FOR THE
BOARD TO SUSPEND THEIR PROCEDURES TO CONSIDER THESE REVISED
PROFFERED CONDITIONS.
PROFFERED CONDITIONS
4)The contractor’s storage yard shall be limited to equipment storage only.
Equipment storage shall be limited to:
a)Two (2) Backhoes
Providing a FIRST CHOICE community through excellence in public service
b)Excavator
c)Bulldozer
d)Bobcat
e)Paving Machine
f) John Deer Tractor
g)Tact Machine
h)Three (3) trailers
i)Wheel Loader. (P)
6)Within one hundred and twenty (120) days of approval of this request, outdoor
storage areas of any construction or material stockpiles shall be prohibited. (P)
