VIRGINIA: At an adjourned meetln~i
of the Board of Supervisors of
Chesterfield County, held at the
Meadowbrook Country Club on
July 15, 1976, at 12:00 noon.
Absent:
Mr. J. Ruffin Apperson
The Chairman opens the meeting.
On motion of Mrs. Girone, seconded by Mr. Bookman, it is resolved that this
Board go into Executive Session to discuss a personnel matter.
Ayes: Mr. O'Neill, Mrs. Girone and Mr. Bookman.
Reconvening:
On motion of Mr. Myers, seconded by Mr. Bookman, it is resolved that the County
pay one-half of the cost of a drainage pipe to be installed on the north side
of Florence Avenue in front of the United Methodist Church parking lot provided
it not cost more than $500 to be paid from the 3¢ Road Fund of the County.
Ayes: Mr. O'Neill, Mrs. Girone, Mr. Bookman and Mr. Myers.
It is generally agreed that the Administrator discuss with Mr. Fred Forberg
the possibility of getting some help from the State Assessing Department in
case the County is unable to do the proper job in assessing all the parcels
this year.
On motion of Mrs. Girone, seconded by Mr. Bookman, it is resolved that this
meeting be adjourned at 3:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on July 26th.
