COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTS
Mr. Tim Conner, the engagement partner from KPMG, LLP, presented the county’s FY2014
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
Mr. Kevin Bruny provided an update to the Board regarding Chesterfield County’s talent
management process.
Mr. Stegmaier shared a short video from the Police Department’s Centennial Celebration held
last week at the Historic Courthouse.
Mr. Roy Covington provided an update to the Board on the Appomattox River Water
Authority.
Mr. Stegmaier was pleased to report that last week at VACo’s annual meeting, Chesterfield,
along with four other counties, was recognized by VACo as a 2014 Go Green county.

Adopted Resolution recognizing Ms. Crystal Dunmire for her outstanding service
to Chesterfield County.
Adopted Resolution recognizing Sergeant Ronald L. Coombs, Jr., Police
Department, upon his retirement.

Cooperative Extension, upon her retirement.

CLOSED SESSION
A closed session was held pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(A)(1), Code of Virginia, 1950, as
amended, relating to the performance of a specific county employee and (2) pursuant to
Section 2.2-3711 (A)(5), Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, to discuss the expansion of an
existing business in the county where no previous announcement has been made of the
business’ interest in expanding its facilities in the county.

Public Schools.
Mr. Rodney Martin expressed concerns relative to Chesterfield County Public Schools’
funding for the old Clover Hill High School renovations.
