The proposed amendment would add truck sales as a permitted use.The applicant has indicated they would like to permit a sales office in the building with a limited inventory of new trucks, and has proffered conditions to ensure truck sales is limited and only permitted incidental to the existing use. The existing building was constructed in 1966. Any redevelopment or new construction must conform to the Zoning Ordinance requirements. The applicant does not propose any redevelopment or new construction to accommodate the additional sales use at this time. However, to approve the appearance of the property from the Route 10 corridor, the applicant has offered to install landscaping along the Route 10 frontage in accordance with ordinance requirements.
