Krepela, it is resolved that this Board go into Executive Session. Ayes: Mr. Hornet, Mr. Apperson and ~Ir. Krepeta. Reconvening: },~.EREAS, The Board is desirous that an interchange at the Richmond Petersburg Turnpike and Bellwood Road be a part of the proposed widening project of the Turnpike~ and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors is aware that 'the existing condition of Bellwood Road from Route 1, to the Toll Road is inadequate for that interchange~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT XESOLVED on motion of Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Apperson, that the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield C~>unty requests the Virginia Department of Highways program necessary improvements for Bell- wood Road, (Rt. 656) from U. S. 1-301 east to 1-95 to coincide with the possible construction of an interchange at ~ellwood and 1-95 as part of the proposed widening projec~ of the Richmond Petersburg Turnpike Authority. WHEREAS, the Board is desirous that an interchange at the Richmond- Petersburg Turnpike and Bellwood Road be a part of the proposed widening project of the Turnpike[ and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors is aware that '~.e existing condition of Beliwood Road from Route 1 to 1-95 is inadequate for that interchange[ NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, on motion of Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Apperson, that the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County requests the Richmond-Petersburg Turnpike Authority 'to include an interchange at Bell- wood Road as part of its proposed widening project and also indicates that the Virginia Department of Highways will be requested by this Board to program the .necessary improvements for Bellwood Road from the Toll Road to U. S. 1-301 to coincide with the construction of the intemchange. Ayes: Mr. Horner, Mr. Apperson, Mr. Krepela and Mr. O'Neill. On motion of Mr. Horner, seconded by Mr. Apperson, it is resolved that a Variance to build a dwelling at the end of Larkin Road be granted to Mr. John S. Curtis, provided a 5G-ft. street be dedicated to the County before a building permit is issued, with the understanding that the County of Chesterfield has no obligation to construct or maintain this right-of-way. Ayes: Mr. Horner, Mr. Apperson, Mr. Krepela and Mr. O'Neill. On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Er. Krepela, it is resolved that this Board adjourns at 12:30 A.M. to December 4, 1972 at 4:00 P.M.
