On motion of Mr. Myers, seconded by Mr. Apperson, it is resolved that a Use Permit
to locate a mobile home at 10605 Elokomin Avenue be granted 'ho Mr. Edward Rose,
provided the mobile home will not be rented to any one other than the immediate
family.
Ayes: Mr. Horner, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Nr. O'Neill.
Mr. J. Weinberg and Mr. Cecil King come before the Board in behalf of Mr. Hastings,
~.the owner of River Road Estates development, seeking some concessions from the
Co~unty of a cost overrun of over 100% in the installation of sewer facilities
~to said project.
After much consideration of this matter, it is on motion of Mr. O'Neill,
seconded by Hr. Myers, resolved that since the County has realized a rebuilt
pumping station, a larger sewer main and other advantages from this project, that
a $35,000.00 rebate be authorized to the developer of this subdivision.
Ayes: Mr. Horner, Mr. Myers and Mr. O'Neill.
Nays: Mr. Apperson
Mr. J. K. Timmons and Mr. Stamie Lyttle come before the Board requesting the
. permission to record a portion of Salisbury, Section H-5, involving 14 lots
iwith septic tanks and pointed out that it would be many years before sewers
would be in this particular area, that the soil was excellent and that dry
'sewers were being installed in most of the other sections of this subdivision.
On motmon of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, it is resolved that a
Variance from the contract between the Salisbury Corporation and the County
be given to allow the 14 lots in Section H-5 to be recorded with no County sewers.

iThe County Engineer cited the fact that Dr. Huneycutt wished to be relieved of
any obligation for the installation of a water line on Branders Bridge Road as re-
~quired by the Use Permit granted in the establishment of a cemetery by the payment
of $15,000 in cash and the County Engineer recommends that the County accept this
i!proposal smnce it appears that this would be ~dequa'te to accomplish the required
~iwork.
'iOn motion of Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Hyers, it is resolved that the County
accepts the S15,000.00 check, relieve Dr. Huneycutt of any obligation in the constr~c-
i~tion of this water line and assume the responsibility for accomelishin~~ ~ tn~' '~ work.

On motion of Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that the Engineer-
.ing Department be authorized to rent a xerox 840 machine for a trial period of three
ii(3) months.
.And be it further resolved, that the sum of $1,740.00 be appropriated from the
..unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to 1t-101-214.1.
