The par:el in question is zoned Residential (R-2) as is adjacent proper-
ty to t~e northwest and southeast while property to the southwest and
northea3t is zoned Agricultural (A). The primary use of the property is
for a sLngle family residence. The request is for a use permit to stable

Staff f~els that should the Board see fit to g~ant this permit, the fol-
lowing :onditions should be imposed:
l) No sign be permitted.
2) Operation to be limited to between 9:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M.
3) No additional structures to be built either in direct or
indirect relationship to this operation.
4) Permit to be valid for a period of two (2) years, renewable
upon satisfactory re-appliCation.
5) The stable and grounds shall be maintained in a clean and
orderly manner. The owner and/or operator shall adhere to
the following procedures in order to eleviate odor and
insect problems:
A) Stables, stalls, corrals, pens, rings, padlocks and
all other enclosures shall be cleaned daily.
B) Fresh straw or bedding in stalls shall be applied
every three (3) days.
C) Sprays (liquid or powder) to eliminate insects (flies)
and odor shall be applied every three (3) days.
6 No parking is to occur within one hundred (100) feet of any
property line.
A planting strip of evergreen shrubs or trees shall be
provided between the parking area and property line, having
sufficient height, density and length to satisfactorily ob-
struct view of the parkinM area from adjacent properties.
