PROPOSAL
Altec Industries, Inc. proposes to lease the request property for the servicing, repair and
maintenance of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems of specialized access equipment and
cranes, and related bodies, components, parts and accessories. Specialized access equipment
includes aerial devices, digger derricksand wood chippers. Altec also plans to operate arental
service for specialized access equipment, cranes, related motor vehicles, bodies, components and
parts. Offices directly related to the service, repair and rental operations are planned. While the
rental and office portion of this operation is permitted in an I-2 District, the repair services offered
for equipment other than that associated with the rental inventory requires a conditional use.
Repair services would exclude motor vehicle repair.
