PROPOSAL
Two (2) signs, each to be co-located on an existing VDOT “Adopt a Highway” sign, are proposed
within the public right-of-way of the Woolridge Road causeway. These signs would denote that
the landscaping within the roadway medians is maintained by the Brandermill Country Club
(Attachment 2). The ordinance would permit only one (1) sign, located outside of the public
right-of-way, advertising an onsite use. Therefore, an exception is requested to permit multiple
signs located withinpublic right-of-way.
The following provides an overview of the condition recommended by staff to address the impact
of these signs at the requested locations on area properties.
