from. the County Shhool Board concerning the reduction in the County's appropriation
to the School Board budget is received and filed with the Board's papers.

of the School Board for the guarantee of funds for the purchase of twenty-five (25)
school buses be and it hereby is approved.

it is resolved that the rank of the (Shief of Police of Chesterfield County b~
raised from Najor to Colonel.
On motion of Mr.Britton~ seconded by Hr. npperson, it is resolved that this Boari
contributes the sum of ~1000.00 toward the improvement of the Jane Baker fac'~*~es
used by the Su~jmer Camp for bhe mentally retarded.
On motion cf Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr. Britton, it is resolved that the request
of the Treasurer of the County for' an additional appropriation of ~300C.OO for
postage and ~5,000.00 for extra hel~ due to the addi~ional work involved in the
billing of real estate, be, and it hereby is approved, provided the State
Cornpensation Board will appropriate one-half of 'these amounts.

On motion of Mr. Martin, seconded hy I{r. Apperson, it, is resolved that this 8oard
agrees to assist in the installation of water in the Clayton Farms ~ubdivi si on
in the approximate amount of ~3300.00 when the County's ,~r line is zn,.tal=ed
on Rt. 350.
On mot'ion of Mr.Britton, seconded by Mr.kpper6on, it is resolved that. this Board
gives tentative approval to the development of the area south of 5restorer Park
as an apartment project, provided a storm sewer system, approved bv the County
Engineer,be installed and a fee of ~200.00 for each apartment _unit connected be
charged.
On motion of Hr.Britton, seconded by Nr. Apperson, it is resolved that this Board
agrees to allow Schmidt & Wilson to construct and connect to theCounty's sewer
system on Forest Hill Avenue, Sixty (60) apartment ~'~nz._.s '~ ~oy ~ebruary
and sn additional twenty-five (~5} united by April i, 1967.
On motion of Nr.Nartin, seconded by Mr.Britton, it is resolved that this Board
authorizes the County Engineer to seek an agreement between the developer of
the Shenandoah and rococo Subdivisions in the installation of sewers to said
areas and that he allow 'the subdivider of Pocono to build.not more than twenty-
five (25) homes connecting to a holding lagoon which will'be a tem~oraPv
sewerage facility to be eliminated when the trunk sewer mains are [nstaiied.
On motion of }~.~'~rtin, seconded by ldr.Britton, it is resolved that this Board
allows I<r. Paul Jacobs and his associates to receive the refunds from water
connections in the snbdivision of Greenfield, with the exception of Sections A
and B which refunds will be for the repayment of off-site improvements in the
installation of w~.~sr on Robious Fond.

it is resolved that this Board aztecs to abandon ?.Ira_al_mutely 200 feet west of
Prestonwood Road for right of way road purposes but to retain the 5e-ft.
easement for eater, sewer and utility purposes.
