L.Gayle, comes before the Board reouesting the rezoning from Agricultural to
General Business (:C-2) of a 10.5 acre parcel of land of irregular shape fronting
635 feet on the south line of Mildothian Pike (Rt3.60), its eastern boundary bein~
$_69 feet in length and its western boundary being glO feet in length, and having a
rear boundary of 765 feet, being 1825 feet west of Providence Road and known as
8227 and 8525 Midlothian Pike, and cites that the building will cost between
~300,000 and ~O0,000, the tower will be 3 feet square and 150 feet high, that the:
Company proposes to use this building as an adjunct to a T.V.Station WXEX in

Road, beginning at a point 350 feet northwest of Providence Road and extending
southwestwardly 2670 feet to a frontage of approximately 1490 feet along Beaver
Pond Creek, its southeastern boundary line being 2100 feet in length and 300 feet
west and parallel to Providence Road, and better known as the proposed subdivision
of Spring Hill' in }kidlothian Magisterial District.
There appearing no one in opposition to this request and the Planning Commission
having recommended approval of same, it is on motion of Ma~. ~artin, seconded by
Mr. Apperson, resolved that the aforedescribed parcel of land be and it hereby is
rezoned to Residential-1.

66-65. Mr.}'.L.Travis, representing The 7200 Uorporation comes before the Board
requesting the rezoning from Residential-2 to General Business (C-2) of a triangular
shaped parcel of land being 300 feet north of Route 360 and 140 feet ~ast of Druid
Drive, its southern boundary being 105 feet in length and extending northwardly
150 feet in ~ianchester Magisterial District. There appearing no one in opposition
to this request and the Planning Commission having recommended approval of this
request, it is on motion of Mr. Britton, seconded by Mr. Goyne, resolved that the
aforedescribed parcel of land be and it hereby is resoned for General Business.
66-14U. I~.Graham Jennings, representing Mr.P.C.Bowery, Jr. comes before the Boar~
requesting a Use Permit to operate a business office at his residence for the
moving of houses on a rectangularly shaped parcel of land fronting 56 feet on
Nava~one Avenue and extending southwestwardly 140 feet, being 128 feet southeast o£
Fluvanna Avenue in Manchester Magisterial District, and stated that Mr. Bowery has
had a businsss at his home for 1~ years until he was advised that such a business Was
in violation.
Mt. Cox, ~ar. Gordon and Mr. Cary, all living around Mt. Bowery speak in his behalf.
Y~.Alvin Guess states that he ha:~ been living in his home for two years and is
bothered by the noise~ etc. that this is a residential section and there should
be no business in the area.
Upon consideration whereof, and on motion of Mr. Britton, seconded biz Mr.~lartin,
it is resolved that a Use Permit for the repair of houses be granted to ~ir. P.C.
Bowery, Jr. which Use Permit shall run with the present owner only.
On motion of Mr. ~rtin, seconded by Mr. Goyne, it is resolved that the bid of
E.G.Bow!es Company in the amount of ~3759.00 for the s~rface treatment of the
garage area be and it hereby is a~,proved.
And be it further resolved, that the north parking lot be surface-trear~ed at a
cost of ~1.O0 per square yard.
