Rose, Chief, of the Bon Air Fire Department~ !if°r an extra telephone hook-up between the County fire alarm and the Bon Air Fire itStati°n to take care of emergency power failures. On motion of Mr. Purdy, seconded !iby Mr. Browning, it is resolved that this matter be referred to the Fire COmmittee i for further consideration. !There was read a communication from the City of Colonial Heights concerning the re- !!commendation of making Richard Bland College a 4-year Institution il The Executive Secretary notified the Board that he had received a Bond to insure j the construction of a parking lot including curb and guttering and landscaping on ii the Citizens Saving and Loan Association Bank at Forest Hill Avenue and Huguenot Road. The matter of the land options for the proposed airport was discussed before the iiBoard and after some consideration of this matter, it is on motion of Mr. Dietslh, secOnded by Mrl Martin, resolved that since the C~urt case against the proposed ' iiAirp°rt had been decided in the County,s favor, that the Executive Secretary be ~authorized to exercise the options on the land involved in the construction of an !iairport and industrial park. It is here noted that Mr. Purdy votes Nay. Mr. Apperson abstains from voting. On motion of Mr. Purdy, seconded by Mr. Apperson, it is resolved that this Board adjourns until 9:00 A.M. on February 11, 1970. Executive Secretary
