WORK SESSIONS
Dr. Casey recognized Officers Jonathan Sorley and Brian Simmons along with resident Andre
Harris, for their help rescuing a driver from his vehicle after it crashed into a utility pole and
caught fire.
A work session was held to update the Board of Supervisors on the new organization design
of Citizen Assistance and Resources.
A work session was held to update the Board of Supervisors on the county’s internship
program.
A work session was held to update the Board of Supervisors on regional and local economic
development.
A work session was held to update the Board of Supervisors on Dominion Energy state and
local affairs.

Ms. Jessica Coaker expressed safety concerns relative to the proposed path through A.M.
Davis Elementary School and urged the Board to delay the project.

COUNTY ADMINISTRATION UPDATE
Ms. Kiva Rogers, Social Services Director, highlighted a cooperative program with the
Chesterfield Technical Center called Recycle Rides.
Mr. James Worsley introduced Ms. Aleana McClellan, Therapeutic Rec Coordinator, who was
recently recognized by the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials.
