manufactured home permit.
11SN0173
A manufactured home has been located on the subject property since 1997. Approval for the
renewal of the manufactured homepermit occurred several times between 1997 and 2011. On
January 26, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved the most recent permit (11SN0173) for seven
(7) years, expiring January 2018.
PROPOSAL
The applicant is seeking renewal of the temporary manufactured home permit for an additional
seven (7) years.
Since 1997, John M. Hubbard, Jr. has been the owner of the manufactured home with family
residing within the home. The applicant has requested the permit to include immediate family
member(s) to be occupants of this home. While the original occupant was the applicant’s
daughter (Mary Hubbard), the applicant’swife (Brenda Hubbard), daughter (Kim Love), and
318SN0128-2018APR25-BOS-RPT
grandson (Justin) would now be the occupants of the home. The applicant’s intent istoremove
the manufactured home, andbuild a single-family dwelling on the subject property. Staff’s
inspection of the property revealed the manufactured home is located approximately 968feet off
of Matoaca Road, and is not visible from the right of way. The manufactured home is an older
model; however, given the size of the property and being surrounded by large acreage parcels, the
request will have minimal impact on the surrounding properties.
