keep up to twelve (12) children. The applicant is pursuing the conditional use approval first, prior
to obtaining a license by the State Department of Social Services.
Approval of this conditional use request would permit the keeping of a maximum of twelve (12)

VDOT notes that land use decisions are the responsibility of Chesterfield County. VDOT notes
that the property along Kingsland Road has adequate sight distances each way along Kingsland
Road at the entrance. Although the entrance is an unimproved gravel road, there is sufficient
length for cars to safely enter and exit without much delay - except in snowy weather.
