SESSION COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR'S COMMENTS Ms. Mary Ann Curtin, Director of Intergovernmental Relations, presented an update on the status of adoption of the State's FY2002 Budget. RESOLUTIONS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS Approved Resolution recognizing Mr. John Boykin, Jr., General Services, upon his retirement. Approved Resolution recognizing March 18-24, 2001, as "National Safe Place Week." WORK SESSIONS Mr. William Davenport, Commonwealth's Attorney, presented an overview of the proposed FY2002 budget for the Commonwealth' s Attorney' s office. Sheriff Clarence Williams presented an overview of the proposed FY2002 budget for the Sheriff' s Office. Mr. Brad Hammer, Deputy County Administrator for Human Services, presented an overview of the proposed FY2002 budget for Human Services. DEFERRED ITEMS Approved Initiation of' a conditional use application for Mr. and Mrs. William J. Johnson to permit a second dwelling unit on Summercliff Terrace. CONSENT ITEMS Approved Approved State road acceptance of roads in Amherst, Section 2. Public hearing date of April 25, 2001 to consider amendments additions to the Zoning Ordinance regarding requirements for signs. and ADDED BY UNANIMOUS CONSENT Adopted Resolution requesting that the Virginia Department of Transportation transfer County road funds for Route 360 and Spring Run Road traffic signal. Approved Transfer of District Improvement Funds from the Matoaca District Improvement Fund to the Eppington Foundation to provide historical speakers at the Eppington Foundation Board of Directors meeting. REPORTS Accepted Report on Developer Water and Sewer Contracts and a Status Report on the General Fund Balance, Reserve for Future Capital Projects, District Improvement Funds, and Lease Purchases. 7:00 P.M. SESSION Reverend Billy Souther, Senior Pastor of Southside Baptist Church gave the invocation. Members of Boy Scout Troop 806, sponsored by Woodlake United Methodist Church, led the pledge of allegiance. RESOLUTIONS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS Approved Resolution recognizing Reverend Billy Souther for his service to Chesterfield County. PUBLIC HEARINGS Public hearing held and ordinance to be considered by Board on April 4, 2001 Ordinance to amend the Code of the County of Chesterfield, 1997, as amended, by amending and reenacting Section 18-22, relating to utilities fee changes.
