The delegation cited the fact that an increase in water would flood certain areas, that it would be quite expensive to increase the size of culverts under the existing road s and that by ditching Willis Road eastwardly from Burge Avenue, the surface water cou~.d be handled to affect the best interest of the most people. Nr.R.V.Lancaster, Resident Engineer, stated that before making further commitments he would have to have legal advice. Upon consideration whereof, and on motion of Mr. Goyne, seconded by Mr. Britton, it is resolved that this Board request the Highway Department to re-survey the water problems with a view to channeling the water on the southside of Willis Road and to ascertain what part the Highway Department and the Toll Road would share in the expense of this program.
