3:30 P.M. SESSION
COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR'S COMMENTS
Ms. Mary Ann Curtin, Director of Intergovernmental Relations, and Mr. Wendell Roberts,
Assistant County Attorney, presented an update on the status of the County's legislative
program.
Mr. John Mathiasen, Executive Director of Richmond International Airport, presented a report
on the Airport's progress.
Mr. Craig Bryant, Director of Utilities, presented an update of the water taste issue at the
Addison-Evans Water Production Facility. He stated that, although the source of the taste has
still not been identified, the taste has improved since increasing the amount of carbon being
supplied to the water. He indicated that staff is continuing to work with the consultant to
determine the source of the taste.
RESOLUTIONS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS
Approved Resolution recognizing February 2001, as "Petfix Month 2001".
WORK SESSIONS
Mr. Dave Hainley, Planning Administrator, presented highlights of proposed amendments to the
Subdivision, Utility and Zoning Ordinances; and Deputy Fire Chief Paul Shorter provided
information from a public safety viewpoint regarding the proposed change relative to second
accesses for developments with more than 50 homes.
Mr. Allan Carmody, Budget Manager, presented highlights of the proposed Capital Improvement
Program for FY2002-FY2007.

County.
