letter citing; the ~;eneral feeling of the Hoard,
This day the Executive Secretary r*,ad a letter from Mr. ,l.U.Martin, Jr..requesting
the c,)op~,rution of the 0ounty in negotiating with the City for sewerage service
for the 51cGui~e Circle area, U1)on consideration whereof and on motion of Mr.
Hrit~on, seconded by M~.(~oyne, it is resolved that the Executive Secretary be amd
he hereby is requested to cooler with the City officials to ascertain the details
a~d uecessary s~eps to effect a solution to this problem.
This day the Executive ~ecre~ary present,~d a letter from James E.Martin,who now
handles the maintenance of poli!~e radio system, which letter cited the fact that
due to three (3) additional cars the contract ~rice would be increased to $1~3.00
')er month. Upon consideration whereof,and on motion of Mr. Gunter, seconded by Dr
(;ill, it is resolved that this Hoard a~prove the increase in the a~,reed price of
maintaining: the police radio system.
This day there appeared a delegation from the Ivey Tract Subdivision citing the
fact that North Street, South Street, Pauline Street, Meridian Avenue and
Edgewood Drive were not improved sufficiently to ~kve general egress amd ingress
d[iFing the water months, Mr. Goyne presented a petition signed by some Six},
persons, which petition requested some improvement to said roads [n the area.
