't'hc Marrissette Honse is one (1) of the finest dwellings of its peri.od still standing in the Viii.age
of M-idlothian. This "'~" ' '
g/2~stor,x-', dovble-pile structure was contracted in the Georgian Revival
style around 1.910, and has remained, v~rtually unaltered on its exterior. Thc 'house tk:amres a
hipped root} original Palladian second-floor windows, narrow novelty siding; and wide 'hipped-
rool'dormcrs. A. fi~ll-length hipped~root.'veranda runs along fl~e entire length of the front facade.
