Whereas, it appears that the growth of the County Water System will demand an additional supply ~f water in the very near future, and Whereas, the County Engineer strongly recommends that the wate~ filtration plent be increased to a total of ~,000,000 ~allons per day capacity &~ste~d of 2,000,000 gallons per day as proposed by the engineering firm of Causey & Weeks, and Now~ Therefore, Be it Resolved, on motion of Mr. Britton, seconded by Mr. Hagerman,~ that this Board request the County's consulting engineers, 0ausey and Weeks to complete plans to enlarge the present filtration plant to a Capacity of 3~000e000 gallons per day. On motion of Mr. Britton, seconded by Mr. Hagerman, 'it is resolved ttfat the County Engineer be and he hereby is authorized to purchase a raw water pump and install same with County forces at the water filtration plant. On motion of Mr. Britton, seconded by Mr. Ha german, it is resolved that~the Executive Secretary seek bids on the printing of the water bonds recently sold to award the contract to the low bidder. The Executive Secretary brought to the attention of the Board the allocations for the construction of new primary roads which have been released and public hearingsi scheduled. The County of OhesEe~field would receive approximately $1,000,000 i in additional funds for the year 1956-~57 and new construction funds for the year 1957-~58.
