Kellam, ~es~dent En~ineer, Virginia Department of Highway~s, appeared before the Board discussi~g the matter of rural roads in the County and citing to the ~oard the fact that there was o~]y ~6OOO.OO which could be used in the co~struction of rural r~ds. Upon co~slderation whereof and on motion of Mr. Gtmter, seconded by Mr. Goyne, it is '~'esolved that this Board meet Jtme 24, 1952, at 8:00 p.m. to further consider this matter. This day Ma~. John H. '~rothe~'s appeared b~for~; thc Board requesting the Board to allow thc closi~g of certain roads and alleys in the general area of Bon Air. Upon consideration whereof a~d un motion of l~ir. Gunter, seconded by i~[r. Hague, ~t is resolved that t[~is matter be referred to the Co~mnonwealth's Attor,'~ey for a ra~ing on the legality of such action.
