UpOn consideration whereof and ou i~]otion of Dr. Gill, seconded by blt. ~oyne, it is r,2solved that this ]%card ~equest the Highway Department to Progra,~ the construction with the appropriate approaches for our next available Federal Aid grants. And be it further resolved that the Executive Sec[-etary be requested to notify Dinwiddie County of our intentions. This day agaiu the matter of drainage on Rt. 10, approximately 1000 feet west of its intersection with Rt. 686, came before the }3card. And the matter was discussed at some len~Ith, no conclusion being reached. On Motion of ~.lr. i~ritton, seconded by ~'~r. Goyne, it is resolved that this ~oard request the Stat~ Department of Highways to improv~e Falling Creek Circle, a short distance from the end of said road, the cost of said improvement to be char~led to the 3¢ Road m'und of the County. This day the matter ~f building a connection road between the northern portion of Derwant Gardens and Rt. 360 w~ discussed before /~%e ~oard. 0n motion of Mr. Britton, seconded by Mr. I!aguo, it is resolved that this Board request the State Department of Hi~hways to view the proposed'location and present an estimate of the cost of constFucting said road. 0n motion of Mr. Hoyne, seconded by Dr. C~ill, it is r-esolved tt~at this Board request (;he State Depa] tment of Highways ~o install a culvert on ~orth Quinford !2oulevard, which culvert would be a connection to the newly cr'eated play,s, round on said to.rd.
