In Clover Hill Magisterial District, a parcel of land beginning 200 feet east
of the in tersect ion of Ht. 730 and Rt. 360, and extending eastwardly 800 feet
along the north side of Ht. 3ÓO, and extending northwardly 210 feet. This
application is lf6.de for rezoning fro:il Ar,rieulture to General Business by Hr.
H. 1¡J. Han co ck.
Upon considerat ion wÌllL'cof, and on motion of Irvin G. Horn er, it is resolved that
the property descri bed above be and tœ same is hereby rezoned from AGriculture to
General Business.
This day ther'e came a delegation from the area around Bell's Hoad at Rt. 161, 1'e-
questing that the County;ive sane relief in the matter of a dangerous railroad
crossing at Bell's Hoad and the Atlantic Coast Line RR. Upon Q.Jnsideration
whereof and on motion of Hr. J. C. McKesson, it is resolved that the Commonwealth's
Attorney be and he hereby is reque3ted to confer with the Atlantic Coast Line
Authod'ies request:ing therr to p:rade, 1wel, widen, and to do anything feasible to
eliminàte the da'1µ;er at this cross:in g.
This day ¡vIr. Louis Longest, appeared before the Booed and presented a petition
signed by T. E. Barnette, W. C. Truehaart and J. L. Longest, requesting the County
to inscall 1280 feet of 4" watcr pipe as follows:
480 feet along the Hundred Road and 3JQ feet along ,Üvermont iìoad in the
$ubdivision of Morrisdale, and upon the condition that the signers Wúuld put
up $1800.00 to cover the eost of this installation which money would be re-
funded after this line µ1id to the County a 12% return.
Upon consideration 'whereof and on motion of H. T. Goyne, it is rt.'solved that the
Executive Secretary be and he hereby is direeted to install this line as soon as
feasible.
This day the Chairman, Hr. J. G. Hening, read to the Board a letter signed by
approximately thirty-five ci. ti zens of Centralia Gardens Subdivision, stating that
the water at t ides was muddy and i1ad some odor and that the water goes off inter-
mittently anà that the l¡leters we 1'e not read consistently. Upon consideration
whereof and on motion of J. G. Hening, it is resolved that the Executive Secret¡;'Fj
be andhe hereby is directed to lay lines across each end of the subdivision to
conaection up the four dead end lines existing at present to circulate the water.
On motion, it is resolved that the County pay the sum of $37.85 to the Richmond
Newspé:p ers, Ine., for advertising in conneetion ,.lith a lot published for sale by
Mr. H. B. Gilli~n, Atty.
This day bgain the lilatter of the drainap;e in Rayon Park, a subdivision adjacent to
the Be11wood Depot, came before the Board. Upon consideration whereof and on i
motion of H. T. GO.ine, the Executive 3ecretary be and he hel'eby is directed to write
a letter to the Co:milandin g Officer of tre Bellwood Depot, I'equesting such action !
as necessary to eliminate the flood condi tions in said subdivisions, such con- :
ditions being caused by the 13ellwood Depot. 1
