It appearing that the Chairman being absent on request for election of Chairman
pro tem, on motion of J. G. Hening, H. T. Goyne is elected Chairman pro tem
in the absence of the Chairman.

On motion of Ii. A. Horner, it is resolved thlJt the Chairman appoint a Committee, I
with power to act, to investigate and proceed with the work at the lowest I
possible expense to the Bellmeade Sanitary District, on the extension of water
lines on Willis Avenue and down the alley between 17th and 18th Streets. ,
Be it here noted that the Chairman appointed: W. A. Horner, Chairman, J. G. Henij',
1/. H. Caldwell, Executive Secretary.

~n motion of Wi. ~. Horner, it is reso+ved that this Board expend from the !
Bellmeade Sanitary District funds not to exceed $1220.00 for the extension of I
water lines on Willis Avenue and the alley between 17th and 18th Streets. I
Be it further resolved that said sum of money so expended on said project be I
in a sense underwritten and guaranteed by the County. I

On motion of T. D. \iatkins, this Board adjourned the meeting until 8:00 p.m., I
on April 29, 1941. I

This day, in accordance with arrangements heretofore made with this Board, A. M.
Toler, of A. M. Toler and Company, who audited the books of the County, appeared
and discussed in detail the said audit. Upon consideration of the discussion
of said audit and in appreciation of Mr. Toler's attendance upon this Board, it
is resolved, on motion of J. G. Hening, that this Board do pUblicly thank Mr.
Toler for his services on this day.
It is ordered that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr.A. M. Toler.
On motion of ~l. A. Horner, the liommittee of Vi. A. Horner, J. G. Hening, and Vi.
H.Cald~ll, Executive Secretary, is directed to investigate the progress of the
laying of water and sewer lines in the Manchester Sanitary District and to make
its report and recommendations to the meeting of this Board on April 29, 1941.
On motion of p.ii. Covington, it is resolved that 750'
purchased at the best price, considering the quality,
