This day came, O. S. Osbelt, representing the Richmond Housing Corporation,
inquiring as to the availability of water in the Manchester sanitary District and
stated that ~hey proposed to erect a number of homes adjoining the north line of
the DuPont Company. Upon consideration whereat', and on motion at' W. Ji.. Horner,
it is resolved that this matter be referred to the Ma nchester Sanitary District
Water Cor.unittee of this Board, and that Mr. Osbelt be requested to make formal
application to the Board as tv tbe wester service desired, and guaranteeing
the building of a certain number of houses.

This day a letter was read before the Board from the Assistant Director of Rural
Health, Dr. p. M. Chichester, of the Department of Health, acknowledging receipt
of this Board's resolution requesting a permit for the operation of Camp Baker
for the summer 1941, and the letter is filed.

This day the ~ecutive Secretary presented a copy of the Court Order directing I
the payment of various sums of money in connection with the condemnation proceed-
ings in the Bellmeade Sanitary Di.strict. On motion of Vi. A. Hornerl it is resolled
that the Executive Secretary be, and he is hereby directed to draw h s cheok on
the Bellmeade Sanitary District Fund for the pruposes mentiened in said order,
in payment of easements as set out in said order and in the following respective

This day the Executive Secretary made oral report for the Manchester Sanitary I
District Water Committee on the water supply system. Suoh Committee reoommende4
that $5,000.00 be spent tAssaid District and contract therfor be awarded to I
Hughes and Keagan. Upon consideration whereof and on motion of T. D.WatLins, t e
report of the Committee is approved. And be it further resolved that thw said
contract for laying the water line s is hereby awarded to Huches and Keagan.
This day T. J. Nichols, Jr., appeared before this Board and requested this Board
to oake a survey of the extension of Cherokee Road in fuidlothian. Uppn
consideration whereof and on motion of T. D. Ilatkins, it is resolved that the
Executive Secretary be, and he is hereby directed to have survey made of said

" The follOWing resolution was introduced by F. G1 Laine, seconded by H. L.
Gill and unanimously adopted by all of the members of said Board present:

County, Virginia, received an order of the Circuit Court of Ohesterfield
County, Virginia, dated May 2, 1941, direoting this Board in the following
words, to proceed to issue and sell bonds of the County of Chesterfield,
Virginia, to-wit:
"IT IS FURTHER CONSIDERED AND ORDERED TlIAT the County School Board of
Chesterfield County and the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County
proceed forthwith at their next respective meetings to carry out the wishes
of the voters, as expressed at said election, and to authorize the issuanoe
of said $200,000 bonds."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV~D, in pursuance 'of the Court Order above reoited
and the law in such cases made and provided, that there now be issued
i200,OOO.00 bonds of Chesterfield County, Virginia, for the purpose of
erecting a new High School building at Manchester High School in Chesterfield I
