I This day came. Mr.H~ G. Smith, interested in operating busses through Chesterfielll County to Blackstone, Virginia, re~uesting the Board to sponsor such a Route. Upon advice of the Commonwealth's 4ttorney it wau learned that the law enacted by the recent session of the Virginia Assembly permitted Chesterfield County to operate bus lines within the County and adjacent cities but making no provisio for operating through adjacent counties, therefore. such operations as reCluested ' by Mr. &ith being beyond the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors, no action I was taken. Hening, the Committee I heretofore appointed was continued for further investigation of the situation. I This day the matt 61' of fuel bill for Camp Baker was brought before the Board, andl it having been the understanding of this Board. that in granting free office space to the Tuberculosis Association at Camp Baker that any excess fuel bill for operating Camp Baker would be p aid for by the Tuberculosis Associ=e.tion. The Executive Secretary reported that the bill for the past year amounted to i82.18 more than the preceding year. Upon consideration whereof. and on motion of Vi. A.
