MOBILE Hl):: I REPORT
The BoaTd of Supervisors of the County of Chesterfield, on Wednesday,
September 26, 1979, beginning at 2:00 ~.m. in the County Board Room at
Chesterfield Courthouse, Virginia, will take under consideration the
granting of Mobile Home Permits on the parcels of land described herein.

and located in the vicinity of
2517 Sculley Road (Sheet 41).
The applicant requests a Mobile Home Permit to park a mobile home on
property which belongs to Lonnie Hawley, father of the applicant. The
Health Department reports this parcel is suitable for installation of
an individual well and a septic tank and drainfield system.
Adjacent property owners state no objection to this request which is
for 5 years. Staff finds there is 1 mobile home located within one
quarter mile of this property. Homes in the general area of this
request are in the $30,000 to $50,000 price range.
This request is located in an area designated for residential use.
Adjacent property is zoned Residential (R-7) and Community Business
This area is well established with a stable residential character.

Because of present development in this area, Staff believes that the
Board should advise the applicant that they look upon this request as a
temporary dwelling, and if the permit is approved, it may not be renewed.
STAFF RECOMMNEDS APPROVAL OF THIS REQUEST SUBJECT TO THE CONDITION THAT
THE APPLICANT PROVE THERE IS A PHYSICAL HARDSHIP IN THIS CASE.

The applicants request a Mobile Home Permit to park a mobile home on pro-
perty which they own. This is a hardship case, the ao~icants' home was
recently destroyed by fire. The Health Department reports no environmental
health hazard in existence.
Adjacent property owners state no objection to this request which is for
5 years. Staff finds there are no individual mobile homes located within
one half mile of this property. However, there is a mobile home park
located directly across the street from this lot. Homes in the general
area of this request are in the $30,000price range and up. This request
appears to be in character with the neighborhood'.
