Gentlemen,
I have been asked by your board to comment on the re-zoning of agricultural zoned
property of Lloyd C. Journigan Jr. to general business C-2.
Its my understanding that Mr. Journigan has requested this re-zoni.ng in order to
construct a ultra modern mobile home park. This park and others like it will attract
a high caliber of mobile home dweller. (The national average according to U. S. census
report, states 22.3% retired, 21.4% skilled craftsman).
The fact that there is only 2.7 persons per mobile home should not create an add-
itional school problem which has been discussed in our county pre\~ously.
The varities of different taxes on the park owner and the mobile home buyer will
add additional revenue to the county.
If the re-zoning of this.property is for a modern mobile home park, I feel it's
a necessity to our industry and county.
