Approved 12SN0211 (05/23/2012) A manufactured home has been located on the subject property since 1971. Approval for the manufactured home was renewed multiple times between 1971 and 2012for the family of Gertrude Jefferson. In 1989 Irving Draper became the occupant of the manufactured home and the sole applicant. On May 23, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved the most recent permit (12SN0211) for seven (7) years, expiring May 2019. PROPOSAL The applicant isseeking renewal of themanufactured home permit for an additional seven (7) years. Irving Draper, son of applicant, has resided in the manufactured home since 1989 and continues to be the occupant of the home. The temporary manufactured home is located on 320SN0105-2019OCT23-BOS-RPT property belonging to Gertrude Jefferson who resides at 14000 Westfield Road within a single- family dwelling. Living in close proximity to her son allows for assistance with daily living needs. Staff is supportive of renewals for previously-approved applicants as owners/occupants of the manufactured home when the manufactured home and property continue to be well- maintained and in compliance with conditions of their previous permit approval. Staff’s inspection of the property revealed the manufactured home to be located off a dedicated but unimproved right of way known as Tower light Road and private access which minimizes the awareness of the use. The manufactured home is an older model; however, given the location of the manufactured home, the request will have minimal impacts on the surround properties. The property and manufactured home appear to be maintained in good condition.
