PENCE COUNTY EXECUTIVE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virg .nia. does vigorously oppose the depletion of secondary road fps for the vitally important rural roads of the State of Virginia, and does hereby urgently request the Governor of Virginia, the General Assembly of Virginia, and the Virginia Department of Highways to sage and improve our system of fam-to_mark t roads, and to emphasize the importance of good rural roads for the necessary convenience of all residents; as a means for providing and maintaining services necessary for the health, protection and general welfare of residents and property; and to promote and maintain overall economic conditions of the State They are further requested to effect all economies possible and to seek such other formulas as are necessary to provide cuff icient funds to assure serving the citizens of our counties and towns. Also, to emphasize the necessity for continued future efforts to expand, improve and adequately maintain an efficient system of secondary roads.
