TAKE NOTICE
That the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County will on August l2,
1958, at 2:30 p.m., at its meeting room at Chesterfield Court House,
Virginia, take under consideration the rezoning and/or gramting of a
Use Permit on the following described parcels of land:
1. In Manchest er Magi sterial District, a parcel of land
fronting lOO feet on "lake Avenue and extending westwardly
l80 feet said parcel beginning 280 feet south of Elkhardt
Road on which is requested a Use Permit to conduct a Woodworking
Shop by Mr. Gaims G. Lyles.
2. In Dale Magisterial District, a parcel of 1 and fronting
lOO feet on Omo Road and extending 300 feet southwardly,
said parcel beginning 690 feet west of Rt. 10, on which is
requested a Use Permit to permit the construction and
operation of a greenhouse by Mrs. ~. H. Paulett.
3. In Bermuda Magisterial District, a 95-acre parcel of .lalld
fronting 1900 feet on Rt.620 and extending northw.ardly'
600 feet and l400 feet on Rt. 620, extending south 2300 feet,
said parcels being adjacent to and west of She Toll Road
on which is requested a change from Agriculture to Industrial
zoning by Mr. J.W.Roberts and V~.R.P.Lecky.

4. In Bermuda Magisterial District, a 36-acre triangular,
parcel of land fronting 2250 feet on the Toll Road and
. extending eastwardly l200 feet, lying south of the Walthall
. . interchange, which parcel is proposed to be changed from
Agriculture to General Business, on application of Mr.
J.W.Roberts and Mr. R. P. Lecky.
In Matoaca r.'lagi sterial Di strict, a parcel of land fronting
75 feet on Hudson Street and extending eastwardly approximately
306 feet, said parcel being known as Lot 30, Section B, in the
Plan of Riverview Park, on which a Use Permit is requested
to operate a Beauty Shop by Mrs. Emma ~raylor.

TAKE NOTICE
That the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County will on September9,
1958, at 2:30 p.m., at its meeting room at Chesterfield Court House,
Virginia, take under consideration the rezoning and/or granting of a
Use Permit on the following described parcels of land:
1. In Manchester M~;isterial District, a parcel of land
fronting 535 feet on Bells Road and extending eastwardly

Dear Mr. Burnett:
On September 9, 1958 I gave an op1n1on with refer-
ence to a building permit to construct a "C B Tool Shed" in an
R-l District in the County. Please note that my opinion states
that the "C B Tool Shed" as a main building does not fall within
the eight uses shown in,the zoning ordinance.
I have this day conferred with Mr. Gates and find
he is of the op1n10D that this building could be construed as
being a building which could be used for agricultural purposes
(Section III, R-l A. 8, Zoning Ordinance). Under the circumstances,
I believe it would be advisable .to request the applicant for the
building permit to advise the Board specifically what use the
building is being constructed for.
In the meantime under the circumstances of Mr. Gates'
previous ruling, my opinion should stand reversed.
